Mortgages ... How are arranged?
Buyers will arrange for financing to take place on completion of the new home. Builder can assist with appraisal, etc.

Financing ... How is it arranged?

A deposit of $5,000 gets the house started in Beech Mountain Lakes.

A deposit of $10,000 gets the house started in Edgewood Terrace.

A deposit of $10,000 gets the house started in Eagle Rock Resort.

Buyer must arrange financing to be able to close on completion of the house.
 

Construction ... How long does it take to build a new house?

We strive for a "12 WEEK TURN KEY" program, however,  It can takes up to four months after receipt of the permits (which take one day to two months). 
 

Can I do some of the work myself?

The home buyer can do some of the work to reduce the price. If you would like to paint, do landscaping, or other work, we can budget that into the cost of the home.
 

What kind of warranty is offered?

We offer a one year service policy plus manufacturers' warranties on all products. Roofing has a thirty-year warranty, siding have a lifetime warranty, and windows have 20-year.  You're also covered on a 10 Year Quality Builders Warranty.
 

Interim fees?

None. No interest, insurance, etc. until new home is complete.
 

Plans?

Any variation of basic plans is available. If you would like to furnish your own plans, we can price and build these as well.
 

Standard Features?

Roofing, siding, lumber, windows, and tile are all standard. To keep prices low and quality at its best, we will not change our methods of construction. Click here to view of "Standard Features" page.
 

Realtor Cooperation?

Bent Creek Builders cooperates with local realtors as well as direct sales.
 

Model Homes?

Bent Creek Builders always has some homes available for immediate occupancy and under construction. Any of these are available to show new customers how our homes are built and so you can see what the finished product looks like.
 

Home Color Selection?

For new homes, the buyer can choose the roof, siding, soffit color, cabinets, and flooring. Most other materials are standard.
